In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model.. The Day of the Jackal (2024) offers a gripping narrative, with Eddie Redmayne delivering an exceptional performance that embodies the intensity of his character.
However, the casting of Lashana Lynch as Bianca Pullman is a letdown for the series
The series’ cinematic style is refreshingly authentic, reminiscent of a time when storytelling felt grounded and realistic. Her portrayal lacks the depth and expression needed for the role, which feels like a mistake.
Without this casting issue, the series would easily be a 10/10
Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will keep the bar high and deliver satisfying conclusions. The new season of The Silo; is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
